About Cobdogla Primary School
Cobdogla Primary School is a small rural school in South Australia’s Riverland. The school was established in 1917 and continues to be the central hub for the community. Cobdogla is a ‘kids matter’ school. We recognise the importance of good health and wellbeing and the impact it (this) has on learning and relationships with others.
As such, we have created a safe, supportive and caring learning environment that is socially sound and where all students are encouraged to do their best. We provide extra opportunities for student learning through specialist programs including: active after schools community, crunch and sip, Bluearth, a community vegetable and herb garden, SAPSASA sporting events, instrumental music and a Christian pastoral support worker.
We set high standards and expectations in literacy and numeracy and we value respect, responsibility, tolerance and honesty. There is also a strong sense of belonging and being part of a family at the school. During the summer months the school pool is open. Students and community members access the pool for lessons and recreation. The school has a newly built hall that is used for sports, school concerts and performances.
